Maiara Rocha Skarheim

Maiara Rocha Skarheim is an award-winning filmmaker and director of Look Right Productions with over 15 years of industry experience.
Maiara established Look Right Productions in 2011 and has built an extensive portfolio of clients in the arts, education, government, not-for-profit and corporate sectors. Maiara works in collaboration with her clients, from individuals to large institutions, tailoring each project to their specific needs. Look Right Productions creates accessible content for broad audiences and champions stories of socially and culturally diverse communities, regional talent, people with disabilities, children and young people.
Maiara is the recipient of several awards and nominations for her films. Her feature documentary ‘Caboca’ won official selection for the Brazil Film Festival, which toured nationally in 2011. In 2007, Maiara was nominated for Best Cinematography in the Golden Eye Awards for Teenagers In Tokyo’s ‘End It Tonight’ music video. In 2006, she won Queer Screen’s SBS Award for ‘One End Stands’. In 2005, ‘Straightville’ won the Golden Eye Award for Best Experimental Film.
